Dr. Ava Arabshahi, DDS

Dr. Ava Arabshahi is a dedicated general dentist who is passionate about providing thoughtful, comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Dr. Ava is from Sterling, Virginia, and attended Park View High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. She later earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the VCU School of Dentistry.
As a general dentist, Dr. Ava enjoys the variety that dentistry offers and the opportunity to care for patients throughout every stage of life. She provides a wide range of services, including preventive and restorative dentistry, Invisalign, root canal therapy, extractions, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Ava places a strong emphasis on continuing education and dedicates time each year to expanding her knowledge and clinical skills. She regularly pursues advanced courses to stay current with evolving techniques, technology, and treatment options in dentistry so she can continue providing her patients with modern, comprehensive care.
For Dr. Ava, dentistry is about more than treating teeth. She values getting to know her patients, understanding their individual concerns, and making sure they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care. She especially enjoys helping patients who may feel nervous about dental treatment and believes in taking the time to explain options, answer questions, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
Giving back to the community has also been an important part of Dr. Ava’s journey in dentistry. She has volunteered with programs including Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile, helping provide dental care to individuals and families in need. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ava enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, reading, and staying active. She values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with the individuals and families she cares for and looks forward to serving the community through compassionate, personalized dentistry.
